Jazz & Milk Breaks Vol. 2

A 11 track beats & breaks album (53m 56s) — released January 1st 2012 on Jazz & Milk

The wait is over! Jazz & Milk has come up with another dancefloor smasher! The second Jazz & Milk Breaks CD edition is out now. Brilliant international producers and musicians from Barcelona to London, Tokyo, New York, Warsaw, San Sebastian and Munich joined the project and left their individual and often exotic trademarks on this genre-breaking compilation. Taking in fusions of Jazz, Latin, Afro and Funk with eclectic productions, this is all designed for forward thinking dancefloors and minds. The vinyl sampler which already featured some of the tunes got heavy support by the kinds like Craig Charles (BBC 6), Nik Weston (Mukatsuku), Paul Murphy, Dimitri From Paris, Dom Servini and Diesler, just to name a few. Envee is the first to go. He opens up the floor with his outstanding jazz dance version of Pinnawela´s tune "You Can Dance". Labelhead and Jazz & Milk Breaks compiler Dusty remixed the 13-piece afro-funk group The Boogoos and created an electrifying mixture of vintage live sounds and heavy beats. Panama born percussion maestro César Granados and his latin-jazz combo come up with a breathtaking version of Dizzie Gillespie´s classic tune "Manteca". Additional artists on the compilation are The Snip, The Jivers, Greenwood Rhythm Coalition from New York´s “Names You Can Trust†imprint, Kan Sano, Saffrolla, Rube and Javi P3z. Watch out for limited editions, handmade artwork… and help us to support individual artforms and of course holy fresh milk!
